The Fleetwood Police Department is currently accepting applications for full time police officers.

Applications may also be picked up at the Fleetwood Police Department administrative office, 110 W. Arch St., Suite 115, Fleetwood Pa 19522 Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. Applications will not be mailed. Applicants must be Act 120 Certified by their date of hire and 21 years of age. All applicants must be a US Citizen, possess a valid PA driver’s license and possess a high school diploma or GED. Starting salary for an entry level officer is $70,324 up to $79,102 depending on experience and after probation.
Appointment to the position of Police Officer shall be contingent upon candidate successfully completing a Police Civil Service examination to include a physical agility test and written exam, psychological examination, a medical examination including a drug/alcohol screen and a thorough background investigation.

Completed applications must be dropped off in person at the Fleetwood Police Department administrative office by December 1, 2025, by 3pm. Applications received after this date and time will not be considered. There is no fee for submitting an application.
Physical agility testing will be held at the Kutztown University Recreation Center, S. Campus Dr., Kutztown Pa 19530 on December 14th at 9 am. The written test will be administered following the completion of the physical test. A current Pa driver’s license must be presented at time of testing. Candidates will not be admitted after 9 am.
Anyone seeking veteran’s preference must submit a copy of their form DD-214.

Fleetwood Volunteer Fire Company is a volunteer fire that provides fire, rescue, and QRS EMS services to Fleetwood borough and surrounding areas.
